Managing & deleting your information

Your rights

• Access & portability — get a copy of your data in a machine-readable format.
• Rectification — correct anything that is wrong or out of date.
• Erasure (“right to be forgotten”) — ask us to delete your personal data.
• Restriction & objection — limit or object to certain processing.
• Withdraw consent — e.g. for meeting-audio recording, at any time.

If you have an account

• Download your data: sign in → Profile → Download my data.
• Correct your details: sign in → Profile and edit your information.
• Delete your data: sign in → Profile → Request data deletion. An owner/resident request goes to their building manager; a manager's request goes to the Synvero team.

What deletion actually does

When we action a deletion request we remove your account credentials and personal identifiers (name, email, phone, sign-in methods, notifications and any review you left) so the account can no longer be used or linked to you. Some records that form part of a building's financial and governance history — for example ledger entries, charges, meeting decisions and votes you took part in — are retained but anonymised(shown as “Deleted user”), because the building and its committee have a legal basis and obligation to keep those records. This is standard and permitted under the GDPR.

How quickly we respond

We aim to acknowledge requests promptly and complete them within 30 days. We may ask you to verify your identity first, to protect your account.
